The Paul Black Studio is located in the Emery Highlands section in the City of South Portland Maine. Nearby Cape Elizabeth and Scarborough as well as Portland's Old Port are locations favored by the artist. Mount Desert Island, in Downeast Maine, and Monhegan Island also provide inspiration for many of the paintings.
